This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

The Director of Strategic Programs will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating multiple key projects within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and program management skills to ensure that all programs deliver on the company's goals and objectives. The Director will be on the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with all departments, including the Executive Leadership Team, to drive successful project outcomes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight: Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple cross-functional programs, ensuring they deliver the company's strategic objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals, scope, and deliverables. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing program management team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success. Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in program management. Encourage innovation and process enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • M&A: Program manage the execution of M&A integration workstreams.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Skills: Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Attributes: Proficient in attention to detail, proactive in approach, and adaptable to changing environments. Capable of excelling in fast-paced settings while effectively managing multiple priorities at once.
