This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

As a seasoned member of the Cloud Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of our on-premises and cloud IT network infrastructure. Drawing on your 6–10 years of experience, you will establish and maintain operational standards and best practices, supporting critical global network systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for global enterprise network systems.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of global enterprise network systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage vulnerabilities and apply patches to maintain network security and compliance.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of network infrastructure changes and service improvements.
  • Promote security best practices and support compliance and audit initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational standards, processes, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Behaviors

  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting geographically distributed networks.

  • Proven experience with switch configuration and management (Cisco preferred).

  • Strong expertise in configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA and Fortinet preferred).

  • Solid understanding of VPN technologies and office-based Wi-Fi solutions.

  • Thorough knowledge of security and compliance best practices.

  • Familiarity with IT operational best practices (e.g., ITIL), including asset management, incident management, and change control.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities.

Desirable Skills & Behaviors

  • Exposure to AWS cloud networking technologies (VPC, Transit Gateways, etc.).

  • Experience with automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Git).

  • Exposure to Windows Server administration in hybrid environments (on-prem VMware and AWS).

  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies, ideally using Jira.

  • Ability to lead meetings and document minutes when required.
