This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

The Software Developer Intern will be responsible for supporting the development of high-quality software solutions as part of a collaborative, agile team. This role will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions.
  • Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management and ensure compliance.
  • Understand standard systems development lifecycle processes and apply our agile methodology effectively.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Engage in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies, and functionality.
  • Demonstrate and develop a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with other software engineers to achieve team goals.
  • Support of evening and/or weekend deployments may be required.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#, Java, and HTML5.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with database management and security a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control, such as Git.
