This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role you will provide support to associates and managers on HR-related topics, assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and processes, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of HR practices, strong communication and follow-up skills, the ability to take initiatives over the finish line, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Onboarding: Partnering with hiring managers on new associate onboarding plans.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyzing HR data to identify trends and make informed decisions. This includes tracking metrics like turnover rates and associate engagement and satisfaction.
  • Associate Engagement: Developing and implementing programs to boost associate engagement.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace environment.
  • Compliance: Staying updated on changes in employment law and ensuring the company complies with all relevant regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for associate concerns and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems and processes.
  • Manager Support – Supporting and guiding managers with associate’s issues/concerns/questions/performance concerns.    
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate training programs for associates.
  • Offboarding: Support managing the exit process for departing associates, including exit interviews and sharing separation information; following up with departing associates with questions.  
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment: Understanding hiring needs. Recruiting for open requisitions as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
