This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Partnership Director is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with key partners to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals. This role involves overseeing partnership initiatives, negotiating agreements, and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for the organization and its partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.  This role will create and execute go to market strategies for partner engagement collaborating across all go to market cross functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management and Engineering). 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
    • Identify potential partnership opportunities and evaluate their fit with organizational priorities.
  2. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  3. Partnership Execution:
    • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and organizational standards.
    • Oversee the implementation and performance of partnerships, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product, legal) to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
    • Build a team and provide leadership and mentorship to team members involved in partnership activities.
  5. Financial Oversight:
    • Monitor partnership budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and value for the organization.
    • Drive revenue growth and other measurable outcomes through successful partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience 10-15+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related role.
    • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing high-impact partnerships.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and partnership management software is a plus.
