This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our hybrid network environments, bridging on-premises and cloud infrastructures seamlessly. This role requires experience in network architecture, particularly in cloud platforms like AWS, and a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Architecture

  • Help in the design and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, configurations, and documentation to support infrastructure projects and operational processes.

Cloud Networking Expertise (AWS)

  • Manage and optimize AWS networking components such as VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53.
  • Ensure cloud networks are secure, highly available, and performant using AWS best practices.
  • Implement automation strategies for cloud network management using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.

Integration & Migration

  • Support large-scale cloud migration projects.
  • Ensure hybrid connectivity through VPNs or Direct Connect, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Proactively monitor network performance using advanced tools, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or potential disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid environments, implementing preventive measures to minimize recurrence.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce and enhance network security measures, including firewalls, encryption protocols, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO, NIST, or PCI-DSS.
  • Regularly review and update network policies to align with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals.
  • Communicate complex network strategies and issues to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
